The Mays has been around for a rather long time: twenty-seven years, to be precise. It has seen a number of literary and artistic trends come (and indeed go), but the digital domain is one it has never explored. Times are changing, and The Mays is changing with it. For the first time, this year’s anthology is accompanied by a significant online supplement, allowing us to feature multimedia works and pieces to which printing simply could not do justice. We present to you a range of films, sound pieces, visual scores, animations and photographs – all rich and enigmatic in their own ways. We encourage you to see the online pieces as a indivisible part of the anthology as a whole – many of the works here are also in dialogue with those found in the printed copy of The Mays.
