Day in the Mind // Zébulon Goriely

Day in the Mind is a short film titled as a play on words on the typical vlog format “Day in the Life…”. It creates a visual and auditory experience attempting to describe an experience that occurred to me during Michaelmas Term at Cambridge in 2018. As a Youtuber I’ve always felt like my videos exist in the awkward space between film and vlog, and in this film you see how well-composed shots are mixed with more vlog-like handheld footage. Themes of stress, anxiety and depression are examined through a circular narrative that concludes with the creation of the film itself.”
