“The fragmentary and the elusive, the moments that are made aware. We stop to admire the beauty, but we raise our phones before we raise our eyes. I don’t think this has to be a bad thing. I took these on my phone. Some of them were originally Instagram stories. Would a camera make them more deserving of your attention? I am not trying to pretend they are special. In fact, anyone could have taken them. When the digital world constantly is rewiring our attention span, aren’t you curious about what make a person pause and look?”
